Moving Right Along

A Full Season

We finished our ’22-23 travel season having travelled almost 10,000 miles while serving at sixteen church events, two university events, a church convention meeting, and three weeks of working at Life Action Camp.

While we continued to serve in familiar ways – leading and discipling our team, working with church leaders, and teaching on healthy relationships – our team also helped pilot a new Life Action Church Event called Energize. This 8-11 day event is designed to help churches and individuals mobilize for kingdom mission in their communities and across the globe. Amanda & I have enjoyed the opportunity to speak directly to living out the gospel through areas like Christian hospitality, generosity & mercy, and overseas missions.

A Roadtrip?!?

About a month after we got home to Michigan, we packed up the van and headed West for a family roadtrip. We’ve always wanted to see some National Parks and monuments in the western US. The kids are at the perfect age to spend 19 days on the road and 10 nights in tents, traveling 6100 miles to some of the most beautiful places in the world. We got to catch up with some dear friends along the way as well. We’ll be posting some highlights to our social media feeds, so keep your eyes open!

2023-24 Life Action Silver Team

What’s Down the Road?

If you compare this team picture with last year’s, you may see a lot of familiar faces on our team! Even though we are still short a couple of team members, most of our team have already traveled with us. We’re excited to be working with a seasoned crew this year!

We have a full Fall travel season, and only a couple open spots in the Spring, taking us to churches in NC, KY, GA, SC, FL, PA, LA, IN, & MS. But before that we’ll be moving into a new RV. Due to water damage and road wear & tear, our “home on the road” for the past four and half years needs to be replaced. By the time you’re reading this, we should be getting settled in before we hit the road!

We are thankful for your prayers. Our family is healthy and thriving, and we look forward to catching up with some of you on the road!
