Big News!

We have some big news! As you can see on our support page, we are at the 75% mark for our monthly support goal. Based on this, and because of a number of gernerous one-time gifts, we have been officially cleared to begin traveling at the end of February!

It’s hard to believe that we’ve come this far in less than five months. All we can say is thank you – to all who have prayed, given, and shown us your support. As you can see, Amanda, the kids, and I are all raring to go join the Silver Team. Currently, our plan is to meet up with the Black Family and the rest of the team at First Baptist Church in Suffolk, VA for a Summit beginning the last Sunday of February. But before that happens, we have a lot to do!

• We’re working on renting out our house. It’s going to take a lot of work and wisdom to make sure that our home remains an assett and not a burden while we are away.
• Since we’ll be renting our home, we have a lot of work to do in packing and storing what we won’t need on the road.
• In a couple weeks, we’ll be going up to Life Action headquarters to do some on-boarding and training. At that time we’re also going to pick up our trailer!

As always, we depend on your prayers. Though we’re only at 75% of our monthly goal, we have enough in our fund to cover our shortfall temporarily. Even so, we’re continuing our efforts to reach 100% of our monthly support to ensure that we can continue traveling indefinitely.

And once again, we are about to go through a huge life change. Pray that we’ll handle the stress of the transition well. Keep praying for our family as we get used to our new life on the road. And pray that God would make our work for his Kingdom effective.
